Aberdeen residential clean up

Time to clean out your closets and garage, and gather up all that stuff you’ve been meaning to get rid of for months.

Aberdeen’s residential clean-up (originally scheduled for last spring) will now take place Sept. 1 through 30, at Lemay’s Grays Harbor Transfer Station in Montesano.

Residents are allowed to load up one car, pickup truck or small trailer with up to one ton of garbage and dispose of it at Lemay’s at no charge. There’s a maximum of four car tires as well as one refrigerator or freezer. No cement, medical waste, asbestos, ammunition or explosives are permitted.

Residents will be receiving an orange voucher in the mail that must be presented at the time of the visit.

The transfer center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
