ProstaMend is a nutritional supplement marketed as a prostate-saving remedy. The official website claims that by taking two capsules of ProstaMend daily, you can purportedly fix BPH and save your prostate. The supplement uses 32 herbal extracts and other natural ingredients to target prostate health.
70% of men over 50 will experience symptoms of an enlarged prostate at some point in their life. Does ProstaMend really help? Can ProstaMend really fix BPH? Find out everything you need to know about ProstaMend today in our review.
What is ProstaMend?
ProstaMend is a nutritional supplement sold online through ProstaMend.net.
The supplement uses vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, and plant compounds to target prostate health. According to the official website, you take two capsules daily and then enjoy significant BPH symptoms relief.
ProstaMend is marketed towards men who have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). As men get older, their prostate naturally becomes larger. Over time, this can lead to symptoms of BPH.
Common BPH symptoms include nighttime urination, difficulty emptying the bladder, and sexual dysfunction. The natural enlargement of your bladder causes these issues.
There’s no real cure for BPH. However, doctors may prescribe alpha-blockers (medications that relax bladder and prostate muscles) or 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (which shrink your prostate by preventing hormonal changes).
In recent years, we’ve seen a surge in the number of prostate supplements. Some supplements claim to target BPH and provide similar benefits to prostate medications.
Today, supplements like ProstaMend claim to eliminate symptoms of BPH, allowing you to resume living a healthy, everyday life – all without medication prescribed by your doctor.
Note: There are two prostate supplements called ProstaMend. We’re reviewing the one sold at ProstaMend.net. Supplement company NatVie makes another prostate supplement called ProstaMend that promises similar benefits but works slightly differently.
The Story Behind ProstaMend
ProstaMend is marketed online with an unforgettable story. ProstaMend.net features a video and text presentation with Keith Johnson, a man who claims he cured his dad’s prostate problems using the ingredients in ProstaMend.
After releasing ProstaMend, Keith claims he’s been the target of assassination attempts by big pharmaceutical companies. He seems to suggest his formula is more effective than prescription medication for targeting prostate problems, which is why “big pharma” is trying to kill him:
“…it’s safe to say that today I’m on big pharma’s hitlist.”
Dramatic language aside, Keith tells a fanciful story about how he discovered the cure for prostate problems, then packaged the ingredients into the supplement known as ProstaMend.
Keith learned about prostate problems when he watched his father pee his pants while walking his daughter (Keith’s sister) down the aisle at her wedding:
“I’ll never forget the day when my sister looked at my father as he was walking her down the aisle and asked: “Dad, did you just piss your pants?” My father struggled to mumble a couple of words before collapsing into what seemed like a bath of his own urine.”
Keith’s dad had suffered from prostate problems for years. Doctors prescribed the usual medication they use to treat prostate problems. But it didn’t help Keith’s dad.
Keith decided to take action. Keith is not a medical doctor, nor does he have any experience creating supplements. He’s just an average guy who wanted to help his dad deal with his BPH.
Keith researched cures for BPH. He contacted his friend, Sam, who specialized in treating people using alternative remedies. Sam was an independent researcher at his own lab. Sam told Keith’s dad to take a specific herbal blend that could fix the problem.
Keith quickly cured his prostate problems using Sam’s blend of herbal extracts – despite having zero success with prescription prostate medication in the previous years:
“…my father started religiously following the plan and taking the blend every single day…. a few days later, something miraculously happened. My father confessed his bladder no longer felt pressured and in pain.”
Eventually, Keith’s dad slept through the night for the first time in years. His mood improved, and he started working out again.
Keith was so impressed with Sam’s prostate curing herbal blend that he decided to package the ingredients into a formula known as ProstaMend. Today, he sells that formula online to other men dealing with prostate issues.
What Does ProstaMend Do?
Keith claims ProstaMend has powerful effects on your prostate health and overall male health. According to Keith, his formula will help with sex drive, BPH symptoms, urination problems, and many other typical BPH sufferers.
Some of the advertised benefits of ProstaMend include:
- “The most incredible prostate relief formula ever invented.”
- It contains nutrients that help you eliminate inflammation in your prostate.
- The formula helps keep your prostate healthy for years to come.
- Backed by an international clinical trial involving 5,300 men from 8 countries, which verified that ProstaMend works on people of any age and gender with any medical condition]
- Uses the specific dosages proven to help BPH and support prostate health
- It strengthens your manhood, boosting sex drive and providing significant sexual health effects.
Obviously, these are bold claims for any supplement to make, as these are the claims typically associated with prostate drugs – not prostate supplements. Let’s take a closer look at how ProstaMend works.
How Does ProstaMend Work?
ProstaMend works using a four-step process. You take two capsules of the supplement daily, then enjoy powerful support for your prostate.
The four steps include:
Step 1) Your body absorbs the nutrients in ProstaMend. Keith claims he used 100% natural ingredients when creating ProstaMend, including 32 plants, herbs, and minerals sourced directly from nature – not from labs. Soon after taking ProstaMend, your body will absorb these ingredients, giving you “disease-fighters” and “natural healers” that “will start fixing your prostate right away.”
Step 2) ProstaMend flushes DHT from your system. ProstaMend claims to eliminate decades of DHT build-up that causes prostate problems. To do that, ProstaMend uses ingredients like saw palmetto extract and Annona muricata. Keith describes these as “superstar anti DHT build-up ingredients,” with certain extracts acting as a “DHT killer” that can “stop BPH from developing.” Keith even claims the saw palmetto extract “protects your bladder against infections.”
Step 3) ProstaMend rejuvenates your body and prostate. For this third step, the ingredients in ProstaMend start to work. Keith claims this point no longer inflames your prostate and that everything goes back to normal. According to Keith, you no longer have prostate problems: your prostate is back to the condition it used to be in.
Step 4) ProstaMend shields you against prostate disease. Prostate disease is a serious medical condition. ProstaMend claims to shield yourself against prostate disease using zinc, selenium, and copper. According to Keith, the zinc and copper in ProstaMend “will significantly lower the risk of prostate disease,” making it unlikely you will ever suffer from prostate disease after taking ProstaMend.
Overall, Keith describes ProstaMend as a “BPH annihilation formula” linked with robust benefits. After taking the formula for a few weeks, Keith insists any man will “pee like a horse and empty your bladder every time” while enjoying noticeable sexual health benefits and other effects.
Are Prostate Medications Dangerous?
Keith seems to advise against following your doctor’s advice for treating prostate problems, recommending his supplement instead.
Keith claims doctors will prescribe drugs that have “undeniable, clear evidence of deadly side effects.” Doctors continue recommending these drugs because, according to Keith, big pharma is shoving the drugs down everyone’s throat:
“The top 3 prostate treatment drugs that Big Pharma is shoving down your throat even though there’s undeniable, clear evidence of deadly side effects (WARNING: 9 out of 10 doctors blatantly recommend them).”
Although your doctor may recommend taking prescription medication to treat your prostate problems, Keith seems to suggest you can enjoy similar benefits by taking his formula instead – with zero side effects whatsoever.
ProstaMend Side Effects IMAGE
ProstaMend uses a blend of herbal extracts, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients linked to prostate health in various ways.
Unfortunately, the company does not disclose the full list of ingredients or dosages upfront, making it difficult to compare ProstaMend to other prostate supplements or studies.
We know the names of ingredients in ProstaMend, but we don’t know the dosages. Its possible ProstaMend contains a clinically proven dosage of each of the following ingredients. It’s also possible that ProstaMend contains only trace amounts of these ingredients.
Here are some of the ingredients in ProstaMend and how they work, according to Keith:
Saw Palmetto: The saw palmetto in ProstaMend purportedly acts as a “DHT blocker” that “protects your bladder against infections” while also stopping hair loss, among other benefits. Saw palmetto extract is an herbal extract found in a range of men’s health supplements. Some studies show it supports testosterone and libido, while other studies link saw palmetto to BPH symptom relief.
Asian Mushroom Extracts: ProstaMend contains three Japanese mushroom extracts, including maitake, reishi, and shiitake mushroom extract.
Fruit and Plant Extracts: ProstaMend contains other fruit and plant extracts, including red raspberry extract, Pygeum Africanum, Annona Muricata, and other plant extracts.
Minerals: ProstaMend contains three minerals, including zinc, copper, and selenium. These three minerals are found in virtually every prostate supplement available today, as they play a crucial role in male health and prostate health. Men who are deficient in zinc tend to have lower testosterone – or even prostate problems. Some studies show that getting more zinc can support prostate health, although it’s not effective for men who already get enough zinc.
Other Ingredients: ProstaMend contains other ingredients, although it’s hard to find out more about the supplement’s ingredients, dosages, capsule formula, preservatives, binders, fillers, and other parts of the formula.
Scientific Evidence for ProstaMend
It would help if you were skeptical any time a prostate supplement claims to offer similar effectiveness to prostate prescription drugs.
However, Keith claims he has performed multiple tests on his formula to prove it cures prostate problems in men with any medical condition of any age.
Keith claims to have performed two clinical trials on ProstaMend:
- One trial involved over 109,000 men worldwide, which proved ProstaMend helped these men support prostate health.
- Keith ran another test involving 5,300 men from 8 countries to verify his formula works “for everyone no matter their age, gender or overall health.”
- Based on these results, Keith claims his formula “has already been proven to work for tens of thousands of people of all ages and conditions.”
Unfortunately, none of this information is accurate. ProstaMend has not completed any clinical trials, nor has the formula been tested by any researchers for its safety or efficacy. Even the world’s largest supplement companies cannot afford to invest in clinical trials involving thousands of men from around the world.
However, it’s possible some ingredients in ProstaMend could support prostate health in various ways.
As WebMD explains, some experts recommend saw palmetto extract to target urinary problems associated with BPH. Some small studies show that saw palmetto extract helps support prostate health, although no large-scale research proves the same. WebMD reported that one study involving 225 men with moderate to severe BPH found “no improvement” after taking 320mg of saw palmetto extract compared to a placebo.
The mushroom extract could support prostate health. A recent study published in the International Journal of Cancer food that mushroom consumption was linked with a reduced risk of prostate cancer in Japan. Researchers analyzed the diets of 36,499 men aged 40 to 79 and found a significant correlation between mushroom consumption and prostate health. Eating more mushrooms was linked with a reduced risk of prostate cancer. It’s possible the Japanese mushroom extracts in ProstaMend (including reishi, maitake, and shiitake mushroom extracts) support prostate health in multiple ways. However, you may be better off just eating mushrooms as part of your everyday diet.
We see Pygeum Africanum extract in many prostate supplements. It’s an herbal extract that has been traditionally used for centuries for male health problems. Recent studies have supported the use of Pygeum Africanum. A Cochrane review from 2002, for example, concluded that Pygeum Africanum extracts “are more effective than placebo in the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).”
Overall, there’s no evidence ProstaMend eliminates prostate problems, cures BPH, or provides other benefits suggested on the ProstaMend sales page. However, the formula may support prostate health in some small ways – similar to a multivitamin.
ProstaMend is priced at $69 per bottle, with the price dropping as low as $49 or $59 per bottle when ordering multiple bottles:
- 1 ProstaMend Bottle: $69 + $9.95 Shipping
- 3 ProstaMend Bottles: $177 + Free US Shipping
- 6 ProstaMend Bottles: $294 + Free US Shipping
Keith claims his 6 bottle package is “doctor recommended,” which means at least one doctor has recommended using ProstaMend for prostate issues.
ProstaMend Refund Policy
A 60-day refund policy backs ProstaMend. You can request a complete refund within 60 days of your original purchase date.
Keith claims most men relieve all of their prostate issues within just a few weeks of taking ProstaMend. If you don’t experience significant relief from BPH after taking ProstaMend for a few weeks, then you are entitled to a complete refund.
Who Created ProstaMend?

Keith partnered with BuyGoods to sell his supplement online. Keith does not disclose where he makes the supplement, sources the ingredients, or tests his supplement for purity and potency.
