Montesano twins Joe and Dan Malchert of Boy Scout Troop 4015 became Eagle Scouts on the same date.

The sons of Andy and Renee Malchert passed their Eagle board of review April 15, attaining the highest rank a Scout can earn. They have since turned 18.

Joe’s Eagle project was the restoration of the World War I memorial in front of the Montesano post office. Dan’s was building horseshoe pits at VFW Memorial Park in Montesano.
