‘Textures’ explored at Six Rivers Gallery in Aberdeen

All of the work displayed helps define what “Textures” means to each of the artists.

Harbor Art Guild’s new show, “Textures,” opens today at Six Rivers Gallery.

From Sylvia Dickerson’s quilt pieced with Australian fabrics, to Tina Karvonen’s poured abstracts, to Jenny Fisher’s intricate lacy designs, each piece helps define what “Textures” means to the artists.

Also featured will be works by Nancy Eichenberger, Mary Lou Gregory, Carrie Miller Knutson, Gary Douglas Lennon, John Miller, Robin Moore, Douglas Orr, Danni Rodewald and Barb Shillinger.

An artists reception will be held during the First Friday event tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m.

“Textures” will be on display through Aug. 20. Six Rivers Gallery is at the Aberdeen Art Center, 200 W. Market St. Regular hours are Thursday through Monday from noon to 5 p.m.
