Samurai Sushi in Aberdeen is providing 100 free turkey dinners for Thanksgiving this year, complete with other dishes as well,.

The take-home bundles will include a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy and the printed recipes to help cook it, according to Samurai Sushi’s Facebook page.

Those who need a little assistance getting a Thanksgiving meal can visit Samurai Sushi at 327 W. Wishkah St. to reserve it. They ask on Facebook that those looking to receive a dinner provide their names and phone numbers for contact.

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 3 p.m., and then 5 to 9 p.m., as well as Saturdays from 5 to 9 p.m. You can call to check the availability of turkey dinners at 360-612-3229.

One store employee said 27 meals have already been reserved, and added that they are not receiving outside funding to offer this service.

“It’s just out of the kindness of our hearts,” he said.
