Braden Castleberry

Aberdeen Rotary Club’s Student of the month for October is Braden Castleberry.

Braden has maintained a GPA of 4.0 since 7th grade, is first in his class at Aberdeen High School and had perfect attendance last year. He has done this while taking all Advanced Placement classes.

He is the captain of the varsity football, basketball, and track teams and assists the cheer squad in performing stunts. He has been named Top-Scholar Athlete for football, basketball, and track, first Team All League Punter, second Team Defensive Line and Honorable Mention for Tight End last year for football, and received the Perry Clark Award for football as well as The Jay Goldberg Award, Braden is the treasurer for ASB, donates his time at Aberdeen Youth Football Camp and has run several Food Ball events for Aberdeen High School.

He plans to go to Eastern Washington University and major in education.

Braden is the son of Penny Castleberry-Taylor and Brad Taylor.
