Puget Sounders to perform at 7th Street Theatre

Four choral groups will perform Saturday at the 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam.

The Puget Sounders, an Olympia-based a cappella men’s chorus directed by Melanie McGuire, will present “Songs of the Silver Screen.” Their program will include music from “Oliver,” “The Wizard of Oz” and other film classics.

Also scheduleed to take the stage are Wink, a women’s quartet that has won regional competitions in the northwestern U.S. and western Canada; Two-Town Sound, a men’s quartet from Centralia and Chehalis; and the Olympia Sweet Adelines, a 45-voice women’s chorus directed by Ted Chamberlain.

The show will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors and military personnel.
