Story Time Saturdays — November 16, 23, 30 10:30am — 11 a.m. Books, rhymes, interactive stories and songs for ages up to 5 years old. Presented by Niko.

Kids Fun! Thursday, Nov. 21 4-6 p.m. Get your brain ready for lots of fun with the theme of Maker’s Lab! Bring your friends and join us at the library for an afternoon for all ages of making favorite crafts. Special one-time program.

Music Maker, Saturday Nov, 23 1-2 p.m. Experiment with music. Make sounds with mad marble runs and try out a musical bench. Play PVC pipe instruments and make music and light shows with movement. Loop and layer your voice.

Family Movie Day, Saturday Nov. 23 2:30-4 p.m. “Angry Bird Movie 2.” Movies are shown on the library’s “big” screen, are free and open to movie lovers of all ages

Friends of the Library book sale, Saturday Nov. 9 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Books of all genres will be available for purchase. Most at 2/$1. Proceeds support library programs for all ages. There is an ongoing, honor system book sale during all library open hours in the library meeting room.

Conversations with Council, Thursday Nov. 14, 4-6 p.m. An opportunity to ask questions of the City Council members and they of you. This is an informal conversation and is not an official city meeting. Members will vary.

Book Group, Saturday Nov. 16 3-4 p.m. The book being discussed is a fiction selection, “In the Midst of Winter” by Isabel Allende. There will be seven copies available to check out for two weeks. The Ocean Shores Friends of the Library sponsor this program.

Photographers Group — The group meets in the library once a month on the third Tuesday at 6:30pm to share and discuss photographic ideas, equipment, locations etc. A handful of these local enthusiasts will be displaying images covering a variety of interests and techniques ranging from Landscape and Wildlife, to local curiosities, sunsets and seascapes, plus abstracts and digitally processed images.

Are you looking for Computer Class instruction? The Library is considering offering beginning computer classes ranging from Microsoft word to basic computer literacy. If you are interested in participating in a class, please let us know what you would like to see offered.
