Ho Ho Hoquiam Fun Run set for Saturday

The Ho Ho Hoquiam Fun Run takes place Saturday, Dec. 3. The event which features a 2-mile walk, 2-mile run and a 5K and 10K run, is one of nine such annual venues organized by the city of Hoquiam.

More than 100 participants in age categories 12 and under through 70 and older competed in the Fun Run last year. City officials anticipate this year’s event to be just as popular.

The course begins and ends at Hoquiam City Hall, 609 8th St.

Registration takes place at 8 a.m. The races start at 9. The fee is $5 per entrant or $15 if you want to purchase a T-Shirt to commemorate the event.

The proceeds are used to cover the costs of the shirts and staffing the event.
