The Grays Harbor Civic Choir and Community Concert Band will perform Sunday afternoon at the Bishop Center for Performing Arts.
The Civic Choir will be joined by the Bells of Grace handbell choir to ring in the season with some old and new favorites, including “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and “Christmastime.” The choir is under the direction of Kari Hasbrouck, and the handbell choir is directed by Kristine Burns.
The Concert Band’s program will include holiday compositions such as “Themes from the Nutcracker,” “Eight Nights of Light” and “The Christmas Waltz,” a Viennese piece performed by Arlene Hoiland and Mark Van Hemert. The Concert Band is directed by Tiffany Maki.
The concert will begin Sunday at 3 p.m. Adult tickets are $12; children 12 and younger are admitted free. Tickets are available in advance at www.ghc.edu/bishop, or at the box office 45 minutes prior to the performance.
