Cosi kids return to school

The Cosmopolis School District welcomed back preschool-second grade students this week, and more will be coming back to class next week.

“We are excited to be back,” said Superintendent/Principal Cherie Patterson. “Students in grades 3-6 return next week, at which time we will have a full building between 8:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and then all students will continue with remote learning on Fridays.”

During the first week, preschoolers had an outside birthday parade for a classmate’s fifth birthday and kindergartners were practicing their social distancing “so they can get their wiggles out,” said Patterson.
