Coastal Interpretive Center to reopen May 29

The Coastal Interpretive Center in Ocean Shores will open again soon with a brand new look.

The Coastal Interpretive Center in Ocean Shores will be opening again to the public on Saturday, May 29, with a brand-new look. Administrators at the center said that masks and responsible distancing will still be encouraged.

Admission is $5 for adults, $10 for families and members get in for free.

Past President Nancy Eldridge says renovations include opening of narrow hallways, adding ADA compliance, updates to existing exhibits and lots of new exhibits.

Specializing in hands-on exhibits, guided adventures and educational programming, the Coastal Interpretive Center closed its doors in March of 2020 because of the pandemic.

Summer hours are seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Coastal Interpretive Center is located at 1033 Catala Ave. SE.
