Auditions for Aberdeen Shakespearean Theatre’s summer production of “The Comedy of Errors” will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, April 11 and 12, at the United Christian Church in Aberdeen.
The two main male characters and their female counterparts are 20 years old but could possibly be played by someone younger. There are also several characters that could be played by people 30 or older.
Those wishing to audition are urged to participate in a class, taught by Karen DeMasters of the theater group, from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at the church. The class will focus on Barry Edelstein’s book “Thinking Shakespeare.”
Because of coronavirus precautions, appointments must be made for auditions. Call 360-533-3534 or e-mail aberdeenshakespeare@gmail.com to set up an appointment. All participants need to have a Shakespeare singlet memorized.
