The curtain will rise on the 14th annual Young Artists Showcase at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Twenty young vocalists, instrumentalists and dancers will perform at Hoquiam’s historic 7th Street Theatre. Students in the program range in age from middle school to college.

The concert, featuring a wide range of styles, will give outstanding students from local schools and private studios the opportunity to perform before a wider audience. Miss Grays Harbor’s Outstanding Teen, Kathryn Thomas, will host.

The Showcase will feature vocalists Ben Fagerstedt, Rae Snow, Elliot Louderback, Susanna Watkins, Allison Patterson, Emma Dorsch, Evan Weidman, Kendall Cavin, Josh Holman and Lauren Fagerstedt. Amanda Ransom will present a vocal/piano selection, and Madilynn Marx and Justyce Brook will present a contemporary dance. Playing various instruments will be Alex Spoon (tenor sax), Kyrsten Campbell (alto sax), Isaiah Johnson (piano), Tyler Marchese (vocal/guitar), and the trio of Stephanie, Alana and Hailey Evensen (piano).

Tickets ($7 for adults and $5 for students) are available in advance at Harbor Drug and will be sold at the door beginning at 7 p.m.
