Here are some important dates to know regarding the Nov. 3 election.

If you are not registered to vote, you can register by mailing in a registration form, registering online or going to the Grays Harbor County Courthouse in Montesano. To register online, go to www.voter.votewa.gov. Mailed or online registration must be received by Monday, Oct. 26. Walk-in registration can be done through Nov 3.

If you are already registered to vote, ballots will be mailed out Friday, Oct. 16. It is recommended you return your ballot right away to avoid any USPS delays, or you can place your ballot in an official drop box until 8 p.m. Nov. 3.

In Ocean Shores, registration forms are available in the library lobby, which is open only from noon to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The ballot drop box is in the Convention Center parking lot.
