The problem is fascism, not socialism

A letter writer recently entertained us by walking from one end to the other blindly touching the Republican elephant and then regaled us with a description of all that was fondled along the way.

Those of us with sight can only shake our heads that someone, anyone, can be so errant in their determination of the inlet from the outlet of said Republican beast. When it is evident that the tail is rising in salute of Trump’s emissions, it should darn well be evidence that “our wonderful country” is presently stinking of fascism.

Socialism is not the enemy of the United States, but the solution to the social Darwinist premise of capitalism that has brought our country to the precipice of the very same fascism that enveloped Germany and Italy in the last century.
