Oil: Hoquiam should say “No”

A spill would be disastrous

As an experienced (82-year-old) architect and planner, and a proud resident of Grays Harbor, I must urge all my neighbors to recognize the importance of not allowing explosive Baaken crude oils into our harbor!

One unfortunate oil spill could easily despoil the ecology and environment of Grays Harbor while costing us some 2,300 productive jobs! Aberdeen and the Quinault Nation have had the courage and insight to say “no!” Hoquiam now needs to demonstrate the same insight and courage by also saying “no!”
