As an employee of Grays Harbor County District Court, I would like to show my support for David Mistachkin, a candidate for Superior Court judge. I have known David for more than 15 years, first as a defense attorney and second as a judge for District Court II for two years. He was always fair to the staff and listened to our concerns.

As an employee at District Court II, I found him to be thorough and fair when assessing cases and making his verdicts. I know he has a passion for domestic cases where children are involved. One of his concerns is the way children are so often used as pawns. He was one of the few attorneys who knew who his defendants were in criminal cases. In District Court we hear a lot of harassment cases and he always listened, and issued an order only when warranted.

I have no doubt that he would make an amazing Superior Court Judge.
