Aberdeen residents need to speak up before it is too late.

The intent of insurance is to replace what is lost. Instead of replacing the museum with some of the $23M the city received for the armory building, $7 million has been voted by City Council for the Gateway Center and $7 million is now being considered for the Levee Project. About half of the armory was the Aberdeen Museum of History.

Let the city management know you want the museum replaced. It doesn’t need to be a long or complicated letter, call or email — just say “I want a new museum.”

Please help before all the insurance money is gone.
