For more than 10 years the Hoquiam United Methodist Church has provided monthly dinners for the community. This ministry has been our focus and has been a blessing to us and the Grays Harbor community. We discontinued this program last month.

While we will still support our neighbors, our focus has changed and our missional efforts from now on will focus on the Family Promise program. The day center for this program will be housed in our education building, providing services to homeless families as they seek employment and permanent housing.

We will miss the fellowship of these dinners, but it is necessary to focus our limited resources in this new ministry. Our thanks to all the friends we have made over the dinner tables these past years.
