Brian Blake, his wife Deb, my wife Marcy and I have been walking, hiking and exploring our area for many years. I am not a wilderness person, so Brian has been our guide on most of these occasions. We have explored both Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. Brian, through his years as a logger and hunter, knows the counties thoroughly.

He is a walking encyclopedia of flora and fauna, animal tracks and changing weather conditions. But above all, he is a genuinely great hiking buddy and good companion on the trail. Now I can’t say that about others I have hiked with. Brian knows our forest and coastal areas and his deep and abiding love for them as a sportsman speaks volumes about his past.

No other candidate has these qualifications. He is a hands-on representative, with the vision to help us move forward.
