Grays Harbor County saw its unemployment rate rise for the fifth consecutive month to 9.2% in February, maintaining its position as the seventh-highest jobless rate across the state, according to statistics released by the Washington Employment Securities Department. The increase is 0.4% higher than what was reported in January.

Mass flooding throughout Aberdeen and Hoquiam, along with several other environmental factors, caused plenty of cars to turn around to avoid flooding.
