Chris Pierog and his wife Hannah started Grays Harbor Real Estate Investing Group in February 2023. The dynamic Montesano couple, Chris is a real estate agent for Spivey Realty Group, and Hannah, who works in property management, have helped “spark” a movement in real estate investing throughout Grays Harbor. The group next meets Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m., at Mount Olympus Brewing — 105 W. Heron St., in Aberdeen.

Waugh’s Men’s and Women’s Apparel — 110 E. Heron St., in Aberdeen — is scheduled to close in the next few weeks. The loss of the shop, which owner Daniel Crocker blames on loss of revenue over the past “6-7 months,” has been a hard decision for him. Crocker started working at Waugh’s for a few years before he bought the place in 2020 and he’s made a lot of close connections. It seems a good number of Aberdeen residents will miss the high-end clothing shop a lot, as well.
