STEPHANIE MORTON A Coast Guard helicopter hovers over the scene of a boating accident on the Grand Canal in Ocean Shores Wednesday afternoon. According to Ocean Shores Police, a 27-year old Bonney Lake man fell from his boat and was unable to swim and was not wearing a life vest. A search in the area of Browns Point Road and Tonquin Avenue Southwest failed to turn up the man, who is presumed drowned. A dive team from Thurston County will arrive Saturday morning to attempt to recover the body. A 12-year old boy in a separate boat also went into the water but reportedly escaped without injury.
