Matthew N. Wells / The Daily World The city of Aberdeen is taking another step at replacing the Young Street Bridge, officially the North Aberdeen Bridge. According to Dee Anne Shaw, councilor for Aberdeen City Council, the public will be involved through the next few months as to how to commemorate the bridge and the area around it. The bridge is known for graffiti in remembrance of the late Kurt Cobain, who founded Nirvana and who is from Aberdeen. The photograph was taken from Kurt Cobain Memorial Park in early February, 2023.
