World Music Day unites Aberdeen

It was a whirlwind on Friday in downtown Aberdeen.

Rick Moyer of Moyer Multi Media LLC.
World Music Day won’t just be for famous musicians to land in Aberdeen and play for what is expected to receive a lot of fanfare. It’ll mark the first glimpse of the “Unplugged” space inside The Music Project building — 121 W. Wishkah St. Lee and Dani Bacon, plus other “essential” workers, have been working tirelessly in order to make the space available for music lovers. The sign to the right that reads “Grungeology” will be seen as people head from “The Green Room” to “Unplugged.” At the end of the hallway is the iconic highway sign that the late-Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic once made famous with a photo decades ago.
