The new playground equipment at Garley Park in south Aberdeen was getting a workout on a warm, sunny afternoon Thursday. Jessica Byers brought her 5-year-old son, Tyr, and 3-year-old daughter, Ava; they both took turns on the zip line, getting an assist from Josh White and Ashley Byers, both of Westport. Ava later took a whack at the adjacent climbing wall, with White providing a boost.
