Westport Winery earns platinum

Westport Winery earned its 24th platinum medal at the recent Wine Press NW Platinum Invitational Wine Competition.

The 2017 vintage of MV Endeavor Cabernet Sauvignon from Elephant Mountain Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, was awarded this honor. This release was crafted from grapes harvested at Elephant Mountain and Klipsun vineyards. The label features original art by winery co-founder Kim Roberts. A portion of the proceeds from this label benefits the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority. The octopus sculpture commemorating this wine, designed by McCleary metal artist Tyler Hansen, is located atop the entry arch above the winery’s driveway.
