Channel Point celebrates National Assisted Living Week

This week, Channel Point Village retirement community will celebrate “Capture the Moment” — the theme of this year’s National Assisted Living Week, and everyone is invited.

The Push Rods Car Club will be showing off its classic cars at the “Show and Shine” at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Channel Point Village parking lot.

As part of this year’s speaker series, John Larson, executive director of the Polson Museum in Hoquiam, will share information about the history of Grays Harbor and its logging industry at 4 p.m. Thursday.

At 6:30 p.m. Friday, as champagne and dessert are served, singer and musician Tiffany Maki will entertain guests with jazz favorites and standards to round out the celebration.

Channel Point is located at 907 K. St. in Hoquiam.
