Ron Schmidt, and his 45-year old macaw named Jazz, were a sight to see on Friday, June 24, 2022, for fair attendees at the Rusty Scupper’s Pirate Daze festival in Westport. Schmidt was cheefully showing off what she could do, and was insistent on those who wanted photos of the duo to take “selfies” with him. Schmidt was just happy to play like a “kid” again.
