Wil Russoul, executive director of the Downtown Aberdeen Association, could hardly wait to receive the mileage sign that was posted on Highway 8 approximately 6 miles from Elma, 16 miles to Montesano and 26 miles from Aberdeen, because it’s a piece of music history. The sign will at some point help greet travelers as they enter downtown Aberdeen.
