Mariano Pineda, a tree and branch trimmer, chain saws through a limb near the top of an estimated 105-foot tall Redwood tree. The tree has stood outside Dick and Judy Isaacson’s home on L Street in Aberdeen since 1907, when the Hood family owned it. In 1923, Dick’s grandparents bought the home, and then in 1949, his parents bought the home. The tree is coming down to avoid any potential accidents. A couple limbs, with help from wind two months ago, have already fallen. Fortunately, nobody was hurt, and no damage resulted from the falling limbs. Judy Isaacson, who on Wednesday morning was standing outside and across the street from her home, watched in awe as the limbs came down carefully. “This is the exciting part, I think,” Isaacson said. She marveled at how Pineda climbed around the tree trunk. “Pray for him, OK?” Judy Isaacson asked as she watched Pineda work.
