An archival clip from The Aberdeen Daily World — now named The Daily World — on May 25, 1935, shows media coverage about the kidnapping of George Weyerhaeuser Sr. Then, a 9-year-old boy, Weyerhaeuser was taken from his hometown of Tacoma, but eight days later he was set free. The story was covered locally and nationally. Bryan Johnston, author of the book "Deep in the Woods," which delves into the Weyerhaeuser kidnapping, will both talk about the book and sign copies of it at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Polson Museum.
