John C. Parsons

A celebration of life and barbeque for John Charles Parsons, who died Nov. 23, 2022, will be held at 1 p.m. at the family home on July 22, 2023.

Arrangements were by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Jon Charles Parker, a lifetime resident of Hoquiam, died Monday, June 19, at home. He was 74. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, July 6, at 7 p.m. and a funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 7, at 10 a.m. Both will take place at Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam. A reception will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m Friday, July 7, at the Hoquiam Elks.

Joanne E. Ord

Joanne Elizabeth Ord, a longtime resident of Ocean Shores, died Sunday, June 18, 2023, at home. She was 72.

She had worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Myers and Dr. Pitts in Aberdeen, and retired in 2013 after working for 20 years in the office of Dr. Morgan in Ocean Shores.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Galilean Lutheran Chapel in Ocean Shores. A private urn committal will take place at Sunset Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
