Patsy Irene Grimes, 76, of Aberdeen, passed away at her home on Nov. 11, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born in Tacoma, Wash., on Aug. 20, 1940, to Edward and Inez Shay.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Rayment; a sister, Gloria Kruger; and two brothers, Don and Harry Shay.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Alan) Solem; grandchildren, Kim (Tim) Scharett, Kayla (Jason) Fross, Syrenah DeStefano, Paityn and Christopher Solem; two great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Robert Shay and Jean Everson. She was much loved, and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life and potluck in Patsy’s honor will be held on Dec. 17, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Grays Harbor Masonic Lodge No. 52, 728 K St, Hoquiam, Wash. Arrangements are under the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia.
