Dorothy Hulbert

Dorothy Hulbert of Lacey, Washington, died Aug. 6, 2019, at the age of 95. Dorothy grew up in Aberdeen and in the 1960s to the ’80s was known by many in the community as Aberdeen’s school nurse. Dorothy taught her five children the highlights of the Grays Harbor lifestyle that included clamming, blackberry picking, beach trips and swimming at Lake Quinault. She was an avid gardener and great crossword puzzle solver. Her family and friends will honor her memory with a celebration of life at the Lacey Community Center in Lacey, Washington, on Monday, Sept. 9 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
