Roy Eugene Morehead Jr. died Tuesday Nov. 1, 2016, at his home in Aberdeen. He was 88.

Allen Salzer

A celebration of life for former Hoquiam resident Allen G. Salzer, who died Oct. 21, in Shelton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Mason Benson Center in Grapeview.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Mason County Fire District 5.

Duane G. Helmann Jr.

Duane Gerald Helmann Jr. of Aberdeen died, Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 52. A celebration of his life is being planned and will be announced when details become available.

Memorials can be made to PAWS of Grays Harbor.

LaVada M. Scammon

LaVada Marie Scammon of Aberdeen died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 79.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.
