Lauretta Vivian Harvey, 93, of Elma passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. Lauretta was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Prairie City, Ore., to Charles and Grace (Viles) Olp. She attended Elma High School.

On March 24, 1942, Lauretta married Raymond Harvey in Malone, Wash.

She enjoyed painting, writing, crocheting and jewelry making.

Lauretta is survived by three daughters Lauretta Dahl of Puyallup, Wash., Dixie Clements of Henderson, Nev. and Penelope Van Brunt of Elma, Wash.; three sons Raymond Harvey of Portland, Ore., Charles Harvey of McCleary, Wash., and John Harvey of Spokane, Wash.; three brothers Eugene Olp of Klamath Falls, Ore., Everett Olp of North Bend, Ore., Leonard Olp of Bremerton, Wash., and sister Ruth Slape of Albany, Ore.; 18 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Lauretta was preceded in death by her brother Paul Olp and sisters Dorothy Hanson and Grace Cook.

Lauretta will be laid to rest at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at Grace Community Church, 502 W. Martin St., Elma. A potluck dinner will follow in the fellowship hall.
