According to the American Veterans Traveling Tribute’s official website, “Our mission is to travel across the United States, showcasing the Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute and to reach every veteran out there to show them the respect and recognition they deserve for their service. We focus on connecting with local communities and business to celebrate all those who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Our tributes allow us to honor, respect, and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while educating present and future generations about our nation’s historical past. We believe that, if your name is written and on display, you can never be forgotten.”

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute Traveling Vietnam Wall is an 80 percent scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Wall contains the names of 58,307 U.S. soldiers killed during the Vietnam War. The Global War on Terror Wall honors the American service members, first responders, and civilians whose lives were forever changed by the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the military operations that followed in Afghanistan, Iraq, and beyond. The Cost of Freedom Tribute is a powerful, high-definition tribute honoring the men and women who served, sacrificed, and gave their lives throughout America’s military history.
