Richard Church, 89, of McCleary, passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2026. Born April 7, 1937, to Karl and Marion Church, he served in the U.S. Navy and worked in logging and trucking. He enjoyed leatherworking and was known for his love of family, especially children.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna Church, his brother, Jerry (Cathie) Church and numerous nieces and nephews all who loved him and will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Edna, Marjory, Grace, Laura, Lenore, Ruth, Janette, Evelyn, and Hazel.
A potluck memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the VFW Hall in McCleary.
