In 1959, upon her mother’s marriage to Richard Crawford, she was then known as Sherry Lou Crawford, and grew up in Aberdeen, Washington. She married Skip Burrows in 1989, and divorced in 1992, reclaiming the Crawford name.

Sherry was much loved and will be deeply missed by family and many friends throughout Washington and Arizona. Sherry was the one who kept the family ties together as well as her many lifelong friends in Aberdeen. Sherry had a unique and infectious laugh, was an excellent cook, and was the one who planned get-togethers and family gatherings. She loved watching the Seahawks! Sherry was generous and giving to all that knew her. Sherry was the one to help people in many ways and required no recognition, if there was a need and she saw it, she fulfilled it many times anonymously.
