Deborah Looney, 76, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. Born on Nov. 5, 1949, Deborah lived a life centered around family, hard work, and love for those closest to her.
Deborah was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her brother, Mike; her three daughters, Teresa, Patricia, and Deanna; her two sons-in-law, Cimmeron and Kevin; her five grandchildren, Christian, Braylon, James, Michael, and John; and her three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Bentley, and Cyprus.
Before beginning her railroad career, Deborah spent six years driving a city bus in Texas, where she became known for her friendly personality and dedication to her work. She later went on to work for the railroad for eight years, taking pride in everything she did and earning the respect of those around her through her strong work ethic and determination.
Above all else, Deborah loved her family deeply. She was the kind of person who always made others feel welcomed, cared for, and supported. Her laughter, guidance, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, with whom she is now reunited in peace.
She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
