Jerry Rohr

Jerry Rohr, 79, of Raymond, Washington, passed away on May 3, 2026. He was born on Oct. 14, 1946, and graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 1964.
Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army, drafted in 1967 and serving with the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. He returned home in 1969 following his honorable discharge.
Jerry married Laura Bale on June 15, 1969. Together they attended Washington State University and later pursued a shared dream of farming. In 1978, they began their family dairy farm and in 1988 purchased their farm outside Raymond, where they worked side by side for many years. Jerry retired in 2010 but continued farming until 2020.
A man of strong faith, Jerry became a born-again Christian at age 19.
He is survived by his wife Laura; daughter Larissa, son Justin, daughter-in-law Krissy, granddaughters Khloe, Addyson, and Riley; his older sister Barbara Brunstad, younger brother Bruce Rohr and wife Vicki and numerous nieces and nephews. Also brothers and sisters-in-law Randy and Vickie Bale, Larry and Sue Bale, David and Kathy Bale, and Rick and Amy Moyer and is preceded in death by his son Matthew Rohr.
