Patricia Jean Hosford

Aberdeen resident Patricia Jean Hosford passed away at Fir Lane Care Center in Shelton on March 17, 2026. She was 98 years old.

Patricia was born on Sept. 16, 1927, in Aberdeen, to parents William Floyd Wilkinson and Mayme Elizabeth (Williams) Wilkinson. She graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1945 and then attended Central Washington University. She married Herbert Leslie Hosford in Aberdeen on Nov. 29, 1947 and together they raised six wonderful children. In her spare time, Patricia loved knitting and painting.

She is survived by her sons James Herbert of Aberdeen, Timothy Gerald of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Dirk Allen of Hoquiam; daughters Cynthia Lynn Revel of Central Park, Washington, Miranda Shumate of Montesano, Washington, and Sallie Anne Maxey of Bremerton, Washington; as well as 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Hosford; parents William and Mayme Wilkinson; son Eugene Smith; and sister Barbara Bastin.

Burial took place at the Wynoochee Cemetery in Montesano. No other services are planned at this time.
