Robert “Bob” Keith Andrews

Robert “Bob” Keith Andrews, 85, Aberdeen resident and former manager of Weyerhaeuser’s South Aberdeen Sawmill, died Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen, Washington.
Bob was born on April 28, 1940, in Newberg, Oregon to Wayne Vernon Andrews and Veona Mae (Russell) Andrews. He lived there until age 14 when his family moved to Coos Bay, Oregon. Bob graduated from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay in 1958.
During the mid 1950s Marshfield High School was a football powerhouse in the state of Oregon. Bob was so proud to have played on three of those teams. He was lifelong friends with many of his teammates.
Bob attended Oregon State University, graduating in 1963. He worked summers in the woods as a choker setter for Weyerhaeuser. Bob became a full time Weyerhaeuser employee in 1964. On Sept. 25, 1964, he married Jo-Ann Ednie in Coos Bay, Oregon. In 1977 the Andrews family transferred to Plymouth, North Carolina. Twelve years later they transferred to Aberdeen. Bob retired from Weyerhaeuser in 2002.
Bob enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, sailing and good wine. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Aberdeen, the Aberdeen Lion’s Club and Kappa Delta Rho fraternity at Oregon State University.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jo Ann Andrews of Aberdeen; two sons: Tyler (Kirsten) Andrews of Anchorage, Alaska and Mason Andrews of Aberdeen, Washington; a granddaughter, Gracella Andrews; and a brother, Wesley Andrews of Portland, Oregon.
There will be a celebration of life held St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 2 p.m.. Bob will be inurned at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Aberdeen, Washington.
