Marlyce J. Lukin

Marlyce Jayne Lukin died Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, at her Cosmopolis home. She was 79.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Bernie E. McCalib

Bernie Efton McCalib of Hoquiam, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, at home. He was 76.

He had worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a truck driver for over 33 years, retiring in 1994.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced later.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Martin D. Trader

Martin Dean Trader, a lifetime resident of Aberdeen and former shingle weaver, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Grays Harbor Health & Rehab Center in Aberdeen. He was 65.

A private family gathering was held.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Donald E. Hiltner

SEATTLE — Donald Eugene Hiltner, a lifetime resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was 67.

He worked as the maintenance supervisor for the Hoquiam School District, retiring in 2017 after 42 years with the district.

Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. Interment is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Hoquiam High School Gym followed by a reception in the cafeteria.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
