RHS Math Team competes in Tumwater

The Raymond High School Math Team competed in the Washington State Math Council’s regional mathematics contest March 6 in Tumwater.

The team made a good showing in various problem-solving contests, and Adan Vasquez won the Knowdown, beating out 11 other competitiors. The Knowdown is conducted like a spelling bee, only with math problems.

Bill Norton coached the team, assisted by Thinh Oneprachanh.
