Three North Beach Schools staffers honored

Three people were honored by the North Beach School District Board at the March 19 regular meeting.

Support professional Patrice Timpson was named the district’s Classified School Employee of the Year. Michael Barbero, Ocean Shores Elementary reading specialist, was named Teacher of the Year for that school; and teacher Rhonda Adams was named Teacher of the Year for Pacific Beach Elementary.

All three now are in the running for state-level awards.

North Beach School Board Superintendent Andrew Kelly said, “While we won’t know the results of the state competition until early summer, this is a wonderful opportunity to shine a much-deserved light on each of these exceptional educators.”
