Trio of Twin Harbors athletes named to Pacific League First Team

Raymond’s Anderson, North Beach’s Bighead and Ocosta’s Rudolph named to Pacific League First Team

Three Twin Harbors athletes were named to the First Team of the 2B Pacific League All-League Boys Basketball Team, league officials announced on Friday.

Raymond sophomore Morgan Anderson, North Beach junior Josh Bighead and Ocosta senior Kobe Rudolph were all named to the league’s top squad.

Forced to step into the Seagulls’ premiere scoring role after All-State guard Tre’ Seydel was lost for the season with a broken foot after two games, Anderson became Raymond’s top scorer, averaging 19.4 points per game to go along with 5.9 rebounds per contest.

Bighead had a stellar junior season for the Hyaks as one of the league’s top scorers. The junior guard scored 22 points in a win over Chief Leschi, 25 in a victory over Raymond and 30 points in a 64-62 victory over South Bend on May 14.

Rudolph was on his way to a solid season, averaging 18.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game before Ocosta had its season cut short after just three games due to COVID concerns.

South Bend senior Nathon Ashley was named to the Second Team with Raymond junior Adrian Quintana and North Beach senior Kyle Frye named to the Third Team.
