Quinault girls beat Crescent

AMANDA PARK — Erupting for 22 points in the fourth quarter, Lake Quinault pulled away from Crescent in a non-league girls basketball game Wednesday night at Amanda Park.

The Elks (3-1) led by only six entering the final period.

“The shots just started falling,” Lake Quinault coach Travis Carstensen said.

Jahlya Tatro scored 23 points and Kariana Fowler added 19 for the Elks. Kat Neeland was cited for rebounding.

Lake Quinault suited up only five players for the contest.

Friday’s scheduled home game with Oakville has been postponed. The Elks travel to Columbia Adventist on Saturday.
